My name is Associate Professor Dr. Taweewat Wattanakuljaoen. I am 44 years old. I graduated with a Ph.D. in the field of Educational Technology and Communications. I was a lecturer for 14 years at the Faculty of Education, Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University (STOU), Thailand.

I have research in education innovation and technology for distance education such as the introduction of smartphones, social networks, e-learning for distance educational system. There are more than 40 textbooks on distance education. There are 10 researches on distance education. I have experience as a research consultant, and experts of educational organizations for the government agencies of Thailand.

Short Vision Statement:

Being recognized as an ICDE Board Member is the highest honor of being an academic staff. I am a lecturer in the field of Educational Technology and Communications at Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University (STOU), Thailand, which is an open university that uses distance learning system.

I am currently Acting Vice-President for Human Resources and General Administration and Research. I have a network of universities in Thailand, OU5 and open universities in Southeast Asia.

Therefore, the knowledge and educational networks that have come to benefit as follows:

I am committed to using my experience in working with ICDE to suit the current situation.

The goal of the work is as follows:

1. Build a network of cooperation in distance education at the international level.
   

2. Build a research network that responds to teaching and learning, and management of distance
   education in the 21st century.
   

3. Organize a seminar to establish a model/body of knowledge in distance education in the new
   normal.
