Contact North president visits Norway

 

Maxim Jean Louis, ICDE Executive Committee member and president of Contact North | Contact Nord, Canada visited Norway for knowledge sharing roundtable with specialists in flexible and online learning.

Contact North | Contact Nord is Ontario’s distance education and training network supporting the delivery of education and training opportunities from the province’s 24 public colleges, 22 public universities and other training providers through a network of 112 online learning centres.

Maxim Jean-Louis shared experiences from Canada in a wide-ranging discussion which covered funding, governmental policy, blended learning, study centres as well as opportunities for further exchange. The meeting was organized in association with ICDE associate member Flexible Education Norway (FuN). Members of both FuN and ICDE represented at the event were:

  • NKI Nettstudier

Maxim Jean-Louis also spent two days working with ICDE staff in the Oslo headquarters.
