ICDE present at the UNESCO IITE-2016 International Conference

The Secretary General of ICDE gave an opening speech and presentation at the UNESCO IITE-2016 International Conference “ICT in Education: Innovation for Quality, Openness and Inclusion” at the St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation, Russia on Monday September 5th.

His opening speech focused on the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically SDG 4 Education 2030 ”Towards inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning for all”. He insisted on how IT and IT related issues are critical for achieving inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning for all.

In his presentation named "Sustainable Development Goals: Ensuring Access and Enhancing the Quality of Education", he presented the work that ICDE lead together with UNESCO to meet the SDG agenda, with particular emphasis on learning analytics and the quality agenda.
