The purpose of the ICDE Knowledge Hub is to identify effective practices, case studies, tools and resources that will facilitate bringing accessible, quality education to all through the application of online, open, flexible, distant and technology enhanced education.

The journal's Editor in Chief is Alan Tait of the Open University, UK, who is also a member of the ICDE Executive Committee.
